USO is the best kind of people that will make you feel welcome!
Kansas City is building a new airport and it was mentioned that a USO could be a part of it. Was wondering if there is anything we can do to help that project along. I have a special place in my heart for the USO, as a member in the early to mid 50's at the YMCA in St. Louis where we had dances, ping pong and card games three nights a week. As a WW II child I collected cigarette packs for the aluminum foil. 75 years later I still remember my father going to the train station on Thanksgiving and bringing home two soldiers for dinner. Sincerely, Evelyn
Thank you for the great environment. Having this service available has always been very appreciated throughout my 23 year career. The USO services continues to support all servicemembers and this is a great blessing. Thank you!
Thank you for taking care of my soilder and all of the other soilders that passed through St. Louis airport last night. Seeing the videos and pictures of them being entertained and taken care of makes this mom very happy!!! Keep up the amazing job you do!!!
USO in STL is wonderful lots of great volunteers and they treat everyone with kindness and love. Thank you, Patty
The USO in St Louis, MO (Airport) was outstanding! What a wonderful and warm welcome all military personnel receive (both active and retired). Its a great to know that you have the USO to continue to serve and provide support to our military personnel and their families. Many thanks 🙂
I have used the USO at STL Airport for many years. Both on Active Duty and as a Retired Service Member. The USO is a Great Org. for all Service Members as well as there families
They are amazing. Made us feel at home. Would love to come back. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
I was looking for something to do to fill my time when I return to US in March 2017. What better than an organization that serves our military! I worked for the DOD 41 years, and like being around military people. Now that I am retired and a Vet myself, I have so much to offer. Thanks for all you do, even when I was in Vietnam.
I want to give a special thanks to you all for your hospitality at the Cape Girardeau Marine Corps family night.
I usually love this USO. I have frequented many times in my military career as I am born and raised in Saint Louis. The staff are usually the most helpful, kind, & warm people you could ever hope to meet. Unfortunately in the early hours of January 9 that was not the case. I was currently on terminal leave and having left my ship 3/4th of the way through my last deployment I didn't take my leave papers with me (I am at at fault for this). My CAD card expired on Jan 3th (admittedly also my fault) and without it or leave papers the USO refused to open its doors for me. In my 10 years in the military I have visited this USO at least 8 times and for the first time I DID NOT feel welcome. I will likely never visit a USO again but my hope is that this USO comes up with a way to service all active duty and veterans regardless of how they are dressed and what identification paperwork they have on them. Specially in the airport like St. Louis international airport which is already lacking compared to other international airports in so many services.
We ended up having to spend New Years Eve at the airport and had an excellent experience at the USO. Everyone was so courteous, kind and helpful. They even had hats, sparkling cider and horns to ring in the New Year which my daughters all enjoyed! Thank you for all you do for the military and dependents! We appreciate you so much.
My daughter was stranded nearly 40 hours, trying to get home for Christmas. Your amazing volunteers stayed up through the night to ensure that she, as well as many others, we're taken care of! She said everybody was very kind, and as a MoM it warmed my heart to know that she was in good hands even though she was so far from home. Thank you so much!!
This is wonderful !! They sould be everywhere !! Thank you for doing this
I always donated to the uso during my time of service. Christmas is a lonely time to be away from family
I was in the service during the Vietnam Era,, the USO. Is great!
I just wanted to say "thank you" again to Volunteer USO Bureau Speaker Lon Lowrey, Mr. Rip the therapy dog and Bill Snowden the new volunteer, for coming to speak in Edwardsville, IL to the MEC Rotary club this evening. They were very informative and have inspired this Club to help this great USO organization. Thanks for all that you do for our Veterans and their families.
Every time I'm passing through they provide a great environment and comforting interaction. The USO takes care of it's soldiers.
I am the spouse of retired 1st SGT and was on my way to Fort Leonard Wood for my youngest of three graduate from basic boot camp. NY first ever staying in a USO facility. I am so grateful for this organization. Thanks for all you do in accommodating military families. Awesome ×2
