Soldiers Left Behind

As we host Holiday Block Leave that sends 5,000 military home to their families, many of our military troops at Ft. Leonard Wood will not be home for the holidays this year for one of a variety of reasons. It’s once again time for our “Soldiers Left Behind” program. The Soldiers Left Behind program provides each of the soldiers that did not go home with a holiday gift bag. We are asking for donations of the following to help make a soldier’s holiday brighter!

 Full size candy bars
 Individually packaged peanuts or mixed nuts (no cans please)
 Granola bars or energy bars
 Slim Jims (small size)
 Multi-pack small-size Rice Krispie treats

If you can donate some of the above items, or make a monetary donation to help us purchase the above items or an AFEES gift card, it would be a tremendous help.

If you can help, please have the donations delivered to the USO of Missouri, any Montgomery Bank location, or any Schaeffer Auto Body center by Friday, December 7, 2018. Please mark the donations for “Chris/Soldiers Left Behind.” Should you have a large donation and would like a pick-up of the items, please contact Chris at ctrotter@usomissouri.org or
314-852-2516.

Thank you for all you do to take care of our soldiers!!
